Pachyderm Club – March 13

Our next Pachyderm meeting will be on Friday, March 13 at 12 noon at the Polson Rural Fire Station located at 25 Regatta Rd in Polson.  Our guest speaker for this meeting will be author Charles Garner.  Charles recently published two more books and will be speaking about the books and how they relate to today’s environment. The books will be available for purchase at the meeting for those interested in reading the books and sharing with your fellow Christians.

Below is a brief author’s bio as well as a synopsis of the upcoming meeting.

Author’s Bio:

Charles Garner is an author, curriculum designer, and teacher to the church. His B.A. is in Biblical Studies and Social Science. He holds a Master of Religious Education with emphasis in Biblical Exegesis and Theology. He has authored, edited, or designed over fifty resources and books for use in the
Christian community. His works include A Canary in a Coal Mine co-authored with Dr. John Powers, Beyond Expectations, Profiles from Paul, and It’s NOT Adam’s Fault!. His latest books, The Battle for the Republic and Called to Stand, reveal the sources of the weakening and destruction of the Republic and call on the Christian community to take on the full armor of God and stand their place along the battle line.

He and his wife, Nancy, live in the Northern Rockies of Montana.

Focus of the Meeting:

“The Battle for the Republic”

Every generation of believers faces a defining moment—a point when silence becomes betrayal and conviction demands a voice. The sixteenth century had its moment at Wittenberg, when one man’s courage broke the silence of a fearful church. We have come to that moment in our generation.
The world we inhabit is different in form but not in nature. The idols have changed their faces; the heresies have traded old robes for new rhetoric; yet the spiritual war remains the same. The enemies of truth are not new—they are the old powers of pride, deception, and fear wearing modern names. It’s the oldest lie dressed up in a new suit of clothes.
America is not merely divided—it is being discipled.

Ideas once confined to the margins now shape classrooms, laws, media, and the moral imagination of a nation. Many Christians sense the shift but struggle to name it—much less respond faithfully. The Battle for the Republic reveals how biblical truth, civic responsibility, and moral courage were quietly eroded—and why this unraveling was not accidental, but strategic. Drawing from Scripture, history, and the structure of the American constitutional order, Charles Garner exposes the forces reshaping the culture while clarifying what Christian engagement is—and is not. This is not a call to rage, violence, or theocracy. It is a call to clarity, stewardship, and courage rooted in conviction. Written for pastors, leaders, and thoughtful believers, The Battle for the Republic equips the church to understand the conflict of our moment—and to stand without surrendering either faith or conscience. We are engaged in a spiritual war in which the very souls of people, the Republic, and the church are at stake. This is not a time for retreat or capitulation. It is a time to practice the disciplines of the faith, to put on the whole armor of God, and — having done all — to stand. We claim the field; we do not abandon it. The next Great Awakening will not be imported from history; it will ignite in a remnant who refuses to kneel to the spirit of this age and who bow to Christ alone.

In Kalispell: Montana’s Failed Tax Structure

In case you missed it:

The Republican women share pertinent information with county residents once a month. Monday March 2nd we learned how to work on getting the most out of our Medicare benefits. Pictured: Dixie Bisson.

Lake County Republicans prompted the Showboat Cinema in Polson to put on the Melania movie. The turnout of residents – including some beyond Lake County – was great. We filled the theater almost to the brim! What a treat to see scenes from the life of the First Lady! She is so beautiful both inside and out…

The opportunity was also offered to sign up for future information and participation, and to buy tickets for a silent auction.

Note that starting in May, the venue for the LCRW meetings will be the Rural Fire Station.

The role of the judiciary as seen by District Court Judge John Mercer

On January 23, 2026, Pachyderm attendees were pondering the role of the judiciary with the help of Judge John Mercer who has experienced many ends of the spectrum of government work. John Mercer emphasized the importance of judges restraining their power. If they allow politics to be brought into their decisions, they WILL lose respect. Judges should not be biased in their decisions.

John Mercer is going to run in 2026 in order to finish the four years remaining on Judge Cotter’s term.

President Trump knows: Mail-in ballots must go away!

On Monday, August 18, 2025, Newsmax wrote:

Trump Pledges End to Mail-In Ballots, Voting Machines Ahead of 2026 Midterms | Newsmax.com

Why is it so important to do away with no-excuse mail ballots? Consider the evidence discussed on the following Mel K show September 24, 2025:

Naturally, absentee ballots with legitimate excuses, such as UOCAVA, will always need to be kept in place.

Unfortunately, President Trump is fed so many different ideas of ‘solutions’ it must be hard for him to discern what the best ways of attacking the problem of corrupt elections are. Would, for example, watermarked ballots on secure paper solve the problem? Only if there is technology in place to detect the correct water marks (While counting votes?/If forensic audits are even allowed in order to analyze the paper ballots?). Needless to say, if voter rolls still include ineligible ‘voters’, even watermarked legal ballots will be voted illegally.

In the following interview some good points were made:

🔥Trump makes HUGE Announcement!

Thanks to the Secretary of State’s Office and Braxton Mitchell, improvement was made in Montana’s election security! Using the paper and meticulous checks by election workers.

AI used to analyze claims

Algorithms are blamed for what is happening in our elections. AI has a view on the accuracy of the algorithm presented as being used in Montana elections using census data, voter rolls and cast vote records.

Anyone with common sense can see, though, that elections are manipulated. A brilliant mathematician, Ed Solomon, can show the equation for how, in Maricopa AZ in 2020, nefarious actors were able to calculate how to keep the footrace of elections going to help the outcome look plausible, as well as the number of ballots needed as a backfill. His work was based on the paper ballots as imaged for the full forensic audit and data provided by the election administrators. He has since shown proof of manipulation in other counties, such as Arapahoe in Colorado.

Mike Lindell lost the case against him in the defamation suit brought by Eric Coomer. Lindell had no way of proving that “the machines did it”, or that the claims made about Coomer were true. The “experts” he has relied on were not there to testify, since the packet captures never were real and the polynomial math claims do not hold water either. This will likely hurt any election integrity movement in their future efforts.

Success in courts always comes down to physical evidence: the paper ballots, voter registrations, chain-of-custody documents, transaction receipts, etc. Which is why (?) every measure has been taken over the years to suppress such evidence. Hopefully, President Trump will be able to have that evidence assessed by a court soon. In the meantime, the material related to the only full forensic audit that has ever been allowed to happen (Maricopa, AZ) is held in appropriate chain of custody by Jovan Hutton Pulitzer.

Blurred Boundaries

What is actually right? Is “motor voter” a good system for safe and secure elections? Renewing your driver license with Montana MVD, you are asked whether you’d like to register to vote. Check a box for whether you are a citizen or not. Honor system? A migrant was seen picking up a fistful of voter registrations at an MVD office. Can all the registrations be reliably verified for nationality before the elections? Maybe this system should be ended? How? A TRO describing the damages you suffer as a voter when people whose citizenship has not been sufficiently verified are allowed to register to vote/ballots are sent out without sufficient verification? How do we know that only verified citizens are on the voter rolls?

CISA has sounded the alarm that a cyberattack may happen on election day. Did the federal government listen to concerns expressed by We the People after the 2020 elections? The head of CISA at the time claimed that the elections were the safest ever. Is that what has been evidenced? Or was evidence of maladministration suppressed? So, what may be the reason for the alarm? Is the federal government now concerned that our voices may not be heard? It just seems interesting that this alarm pushes people into early voting, maybe signing up for mail ballots, which are the main problem pointed at by election integrity teams. Discernment is truly needed at every turn… Either way, we are lucky to be relying on paper ballots at Lake County polling locations! A cyberattack can’t change what is on paper.

* * *

Do what you can to help make elections TOO BIG TO RIG. When some are flooding the voting “market” with votes in numbers that are hard to verify, you can, for example, offer a ride to people that may have troubles making it to the elections office or their polling station. We MUST counter any attempts to disenfranchise legitimate voters. Our local thinker points to new questionable processes: “Newest […] ploy to overcome legal voting: harvest the Americans’ overseas ballots. Trying to ‘count’ 9 million mail-ins, while the state department only knows of 2.8 million Expats…  Given 0 IDs, 0 signatures, all ‘mailed in’ by Email. It resurrects much of the 2020 tactics to flood the zone.”  – Voicing concerns, rightfully so, without needing to be called a conspiracy theorist, considering evidence that has been brought to light over the years. In addition, the 1st Amendment is still in place, which gives citizens the right to voice concerns!

The Threat of Ranked Choice Voting Averted – for NOW

On her Facebook account (FOLLOW her!), Jennifer Fielder, our candidate re-elected to the Public Service Commission shared a very good analogy of how Ranked Choice Voting might work in your case:

Montana CI-126/127. Here’s a simple illustration to explain why I will be voting NO.

A group of 100 people vote on dessert. The choices are:

  • Brownies
  • Apple Pie
  • Brussel sprouts
  • Peas

The votes come in:

49 people vote for Brownies, 24 in favor of Apple Pie,

17 in favor of Brussel Sprouts, and

10 for Peas.

Peas are out, but all 10 of those voters chose Brussel Sprouts as their 2nd choice, so the next tally is 49 for Brownies, 27 for Brussel Sprouts, and 24 for Apple Pie. Now Apple Pie is out, but as luck would have it all of the Apple Pie voters had Peas as their 2nd choice, but since Peas was already eliminated it went to their 3rd place vote which was, you guessed it, Brussel Sprouts.

Our final tally:

Brussel Sprouts 51

Brownies 49.

The 49 Brownies lovers hate Brussel Sprouts and chose them as their 4th place pick, but they like Apple Pie and chose it as their 2nd place pick. The 17 people who chose Brussel sprouts as their 1st place vote all had Brownies as their 2nd choice, but since Brussel Sprouts was never eliminated those 2nd place votes were never tallied.

So Brownies, with 49 1st place votes, 17 2nd place votes and only 24 4th place votes, loses to Brussel Sprouts that won 17 1st place votes, 10 2nd place votes, 24 3rd place votes and 49 4th place votes. But Apple Pie also had 73 1st and 2nd choice votes. The only people really happy in this scenario are the 17 people that really really like Brussel Sprouts, and maybe 10 more that think they’re “ok”.

Does a system that allows for this possibility sound like a good system? Brownies won 66 1st and 2nd place votes while Brussel sprouts only got 27 1st and 2nd place votes. And poor Apple Pie received 73 1st and 2nd place votes and eliminated in the 2nd round!

RCV fails to consider 2nd choice preferences for the last eliminated and the winner, giving more weight to fewer 2nd or 3rd choices.

This is why people say that ranked choice voting is unfair

It counts SOME people’s 2nd, 3rd, or 4th place votes while not counting others. Furthermore, in the final tally, one person’s begrudging 3rd or 4th place vote CARRIES JUST AS MUCH WEIGHT as another person’s 1st place preference.

Brussel sprouts for dessert?? Umm… No thank you! Let the best candidate win!

THANKFULLY, MONTANA VOTED NO on Cl-126/127!

In other words:

Montanans do not want open primaries where those who are not even registered Republicans may vote for the most left leaning Republican candidate to possibly stop the most conservative from winning. We want the candidate who receives the greatest number of votes to be the winner!

Are Alternate Electors False?

Google is clearly pushing to paint a certain picture. Interestingly, a very liberal pundit once described the electoral system in the following way:

Help Ensure Smooth Elections

Remember to bring your ID with you to the polling place.

If you were sent an absentee ballot, return the voted ballot as instructed, or bring it to the polling place, if you prefer to vote there.

Do not make any stray marks on your ballot,

– anything beyond neatly filled ovals means someone else must redo your ballot to prepare it for the tabulator.

If for any reason you need to vote using a provisional ballot at the polling place, print your name very clearly in the assigned box on the envelope to verify the signature.
