Tracy Sharp is the current Chairman of the Lake County Republican Central Committee (LCRCC). During the 2020 election, he led the LCRCC’s “Tiger Team” in developing and executing Lake County’s strategy for the elections. Previously, he was an Air Force pilot for 29 years and then a Strategist at United States Africa Command. During his service career, Tracy served in Strategic Air Command, Air Combat Command, NATO, European Command, Implementation Force (IFOR) and Stabilization Force (SFOR) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Operation Southern Watch, and Multi-National Forces Iraq (MNF-I). He fulfilled two tours in the Middle East where he was awarded the Bronze Star. Tracy set four world aviation records in the B-1 Bomber in the 1990s. His parents moved to Montana in 1966, and Tracy grew up in the local area. He lives in Polson with his wife, Laura.
