The SAVE Act is to “amend the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 to require proof of United States citizenship to register an individual to vote in elections for Federal office, and for other purposes”. Without using his powers to protect critical infrastructure, the President can only affect FEDERAL elections, not state elections. As called for in the above poster, drastic measures are needed in addition to the SAVE Act. Plenty of loopholes to plug to truly secure honesty in election systems.
The SAVE Act is a great bill to help honesty in elections in the future, but it will not automatically clean already compromised voter rolls. That means the rolls are what they are for the midterms, unless they are properly purged no later than 3 months before the elections.
Preventing more illegals from being added to voter rolls is a must, of course!
Federal law defines ‘critical infrastructure’ at 42 U.S.C., paragraph 5195c (e), and DHS designated election infrastructure as a critical infrastructure subsector on January 6, 2017. (Designation HERE)
