Lake County Republicans are endorsing Marlow Thelen for Mayor of Polson.
Please share this information with all of your friends and neighbors so we can have a conservative running the City of Polson and sticking up for the citizens of the city.
Marlow stopped by during the Pachyderm Club meeting on Friday the 24th of October to answer our questions in the middle of his busy work day. He impressed everyone with his dedication to the betterment of the city and how it is governed – under the watchful eyes of the residents! Marlow has done a lot of homework, and is clearly someone who knows how things should be done. No wonder, since he is also a member of the commission reviewing the city government. Vote Marlow Thelen for Mayor!

Phillip Marlow Thelen is the ONLY Conservative Choice for Polson Mayor!
If you’re a conservative in Polson, this mayoral election couldn’t be more important.
Phillip Marlow Thelen is on the ballot as “Marlow Thelen.” He is the only candidate standing between our town and full liberal control of the Polson Commission. That’s not hyperbole—it’s reality. If you care about fiscal responsibility, local values, and protecting the character of our lakeside community, you need to vote for Thelen. And not just you—get your family, your friends, your neighbors. Every vote counts.
Here’s a snippet from his recent letter to the editor in Lake County Leader. (It’s worth the whole read.) You’ll be impressed:
“Let’s cut the pleasantries, Polson. I’m Phillip Marlow Thelen, and I’m 47 years old. I’ve spent 29 years as a general contractor, building this town up—literally. My business, TCH Builders & Remodeling, is headquartered right here, and I’ve called Polson home for 18 years. Before that? Rural Minnesota, the kind of place that knows common sense—not whatever lunacy is coming out of Tim Walz’s urban constituency.
Unlike the out of towners who just moved in, I’ve got skin in the game. My son, Carter, has been attending Polson schools since kindergarten. Now I’m running for mayor and frankly it’s time to stop the bleeding.
If you’re tired of the usual excuses, the tax hikes, and the big government types trying to tell you how to live, then I’m your candidate. I don’t owe anyone a thing but the people of Polson.”
Thelen currently serves on the Local Government Study Review Commission and has seen the problems with our city up close. His opponent is a registered democrat and has only lived in Polson for 5 years. She’s a rubber stamp for Ed Meese.
