The Protect Act Cannot Be Passed!

Message from the Central Committee:

Here is a copy of the “Protect Act” or “The Camel’s Nose Under the Tent on Behalf of Indian Nation-States Act” being pushed by Daines, Zinke, and to which even Knudsen has signed on (apparently):
This is 100% unacceptable and, if passed, should be defied.  This is further encroachment by tribes working their way towards becoming nation-states within the borders of our own already established ‘homeland’.
This is unconstitutional, removes any pretense towards ensuring we have a ‘republican form of government’, and surrenders adjudication of criminal actions by an individual to a court that cannot be touched by the ballot of the affected citizenry.
This cannot stand and, if passed, will have to be defied by all means necessary to prevent non-tribal people from being kidnapped by foreign organizations claiming some sort of bizarre super-sovereignty within the borders of OUR country.
We cannot allow our freedom to be further sold off…

What Is Acceptable? YOU Decide.

Why has the world changed so much that we barely recognize it based on past experiences? – Heard of the Overton Window? Without us realizing it, the Overton Window shifts little by little, meaning that we are pommeled with narratives that gradually change what we accept without thinking…

Sounds like brainwashing. We are all victims to a degree. President Trump knows it, and that is why he keeps pointing fingers at “you guys back there” – the reporters of fake news. Narratives, a word that can’t be repeated enough, because YOU can help take control of the subjects we are fed! When you see mainstream flowing in the wrong direction, help divert it with your better knowledge.

It is understandable that many do not even want to see the vitriol going on in social media. For example, you now see people celebrating the thought of President Trump being assassinated! But should we just let that carry on without any common-sense input? The less we object to the hatred, the more it looks like it is okay and acceptable behavior to call for someone’s death. The framework of the Overton Window shifts. Remind those who have gone astray that political beliefs DO NOT justify violence!

Another example: A Christian can no longer pray openly without the risk of being arrested. Yet, at the same time Muslims, for example, can fill the streets, throw down their prayer mats, and pray to their god en masse in Times Square. Were they arrested for doing so? How far along are those plans today? The danger of a takeover is hardly lesser today than it was in 2012! How much have we unwittingly already accepted as part of life?

Control the Narrative! This IS a REPUBLIC

The ladies with Lake County Republican Women are very awake and aware of what is going on around us. Please help them stand up to the false narratives spread by mouthpieces like the “Squad” and legacy media.

Below is an example of how true democracy is being thwarted by Pramila Jayapal and the people that fall prey to her scare tactics. Painting Donald J. Trump as a dictator and perpetuating the story that he is destroying “democracy”, that is, the false image of what democracy actually is.

Not only do we have resistance labs, Senators Adam Schiff and Jamie Raskin are holding “hearings” attacking President Trump’s policies: Taxpayer funded theater (Marilyn Muller on X).

Thoughts surely come to mind hearing of ‘hearings” like these undermining a sitting president in a way that Congress never did during the previous administration. The blue bubble in the bottom right corner when you open your account and read the post: that is where YOU come in and speak your mind! We the People have that power and MUST use it to support our President.

Democrats were FOR trade wars with tariffs – but now, since a Republican president is using that tool… not so much. Great Work by Montana Citizens Action Group! Join in!

The warriors who have been working hard for our water rights are expanding their reach! Now under the new name of Montana Citizens Action Group (MTCAG).

Here is an update from Julie Reffner – who together with her husband received the Chamber of Commerce volunteer’s award. Not suprising, Julie! Check out what Julie, Linda Sauer, and others involved in the group have accomplished for us now:

“HI Everyone,

          First of all, attached is a letter that we have sent out to President Trump/Elon Musk and over 80 other government officials/news personalities about the financial impact that reservations have on the US economy.  Please feel free to edit the letter as you feel is needed, and send it to the DOGE team and other government officials.  The more people who send similar letters, the more of an impact it will have with DOGE!  A list of addresses can be found here:  http://saveflatheadlake.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Government-officials-addresses.pdf
          We have a new email account that I will be using going forward.  The email address is: citizens@mtcag.org.  This account will be monitored by me so please send any communications to this account.  I will still respond to emails sent to my personal account but prefer that over time we transition to use the new account.  I am hoping that we will have some help responding to the emails as well so you may get a faster response. Please do not delete emails from this account thinking that they are spam or junk – they are not!  One more thing, I may still use my personal account periodically due to the fact that I get put in “email jail” for sending out so many emails in a day.  Having a couple of accounts that I can use enables me to stay on top of the emails to be sent out, or at least try to!
           We have also decided to expand the usage of our “Save Flathead Lake” website (http://saveflatheadlake.com/).  We do not want to delete the site or the domain in case we need to use it in the future, so we decided to expand the scope and usage of the site.  The site is being worked on, but as new content is added we will communicate to you via the new email address when there are updates.  If there is content that you feel should be added, please let us know.
           I am also happy to share two podcasts that Linda Sauer completed with Elaine Willman who is an author and has extensive knowledge in the US/tribal relations.  Please do not hesitate to share with everyone you know.  The more people who are aware of what is going on, the more people we will have in this fight!  The links are located on the website at:
