The beginning of the Golden Age; The days after
We watched President Trump be sworn in at a pretty divine appointed time. To make it more than ordinary, the inauguration fell on Martin Luther King Day, the 60th inauguration of our country. The weekly Torah reading for January 20, 2025, is the scripture of how the Lord was now going to fulfill His promise to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that He would give the Israelites the land of Canaan. I believe the prophetic application we can put on the day’s events is that God has spared America for a time. God will grant us our prayers as a blessing for our faithful dedication to following Him. This is not just a gift but now a divine calling for us all. We have another chance to govern ourselves and it is our time to step up and into places we have ceded to the democrats for far too long as we got too busy doing whatever it was we filled our time with. It is on us to accept this gift of a Republic if we can keep it; it requires constant attention and participation because it is fragile as our honorable former President Benjamin Franklin said. It is incumbent upon us to become as active and involved in the direction of our country as much as possible or we will be in constant peril of losing the ground we were given. We MUST get back to being the light of our communities by joining local committees instead of sports bars, battle out in the school boards instead of the comfort of anonymous keyboard and arm chair debates, by attending public hearings and public comment sessions, by supporting our neighbors and families instead of waiting for the government to pay some benefit program check and by commitment to ‘Never Again‘. We are called to LIVE the things we say we believe. Not to only complain about them. It is time we start becoming the person we say we are; it’s time to remake our own self. BE the change you wished to see because it takes us all to steer this massive ship with the ‘tiny spoons’ we were given which is our voice and our hands. If we don’t do the dirty work, if we don’t go home tired from the grunt work, if we don’t step into these roles I will guarantee you a democrat will.This is the Golden Age we asked for. President Trump has laid out the work he is going to be doing. What work have you laid out to help him accomplish all this? I have been all around this community and have listened to many complaints of what is wrong and how it should be fixed but what I have rarely heard is what they were willing to do to help. If a person with a 9th grade education and a job can step up and do a little, then I think people with higher educations and careers can definitely do something. The Lake County Republicans are always open to donations as well which is desperately needed to refill our reserves to keep fighting this battle for us and our children. We don’t get funded by big money, corporations or unions. We are tiny grassroots funded by few of us who donate and do all we can to lift this ship, and we are tired I can tell you that. The truth is the fight will never be over until the Lord comes to claim His Bride, so it is up to us to hold down this fort until that Blessed day.The snakes in the grass are waiting to bite. The scorpions are waiting to sting. The democrats have shown what they are wanting to do. There is no doubt that Obama’s fundamental transformation of America is exactly what was being accomplished under Biden.To get involved you can attend any one of our meetings and or send donations. Silence is compliance; not to speak IS to speak
Today is religious liberty day and we should consider our freedoms. We are free, in America at this point, to practice our religion according to our conscience. As long as the practice of our religion does not encroach on someone else’s safety and right to life. Christianity in the form of fulfilling the Gospel is to win over hearts and minds, that is the New Testament. The religions that use force or death are not Christ centered. Anyone who demands compliance is not of Christ. The Old Testament showed us how that looked when only laws were applied. The Gospel brings out the Spirit of the law. There are sects of religious views that adhere to only law keeping as the way to be saved or find favor in God’s eye. There is a God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob or a god of Ishmael. We are to choose which one to serve. It is about the Spirit in us. Are we compassionate or are we about force and compliance. Many people manipulate this to their power-seeking advantage. They apply the Gospel with force and that is Anti Christ. It goes against what Christ taught. There is no compromise of the ideologies. One will seek to rule the other in one way or other. The supreme law of the land is our Constitution, not one’s religion. One’s religion is only a guide. The ultimate goal of a follower of Christ is to have the biblical principles govern our way of life in all things, even our politics. If we seek the best for someone else then it will automatically align with the principles of the bible.
We once had laws we now see as wrong. Just because it was the law, it did not make it right. Many things we have laws for now will be seen as wrong in the future. To allow one religion to rule the land in all its aspects is wrong. It becomes a threat that produces genocide because anything that goes against its ideology must be quashed and gotten rid of, or else they may lose their power grip. We must be on guard, and we must be aware and stand up for others American constitutional rights as long as it does not interfere with someone’s ability to live safely and justly. That is why our constitution is the supreme law of our land. We should be able to practice our religion as long as it does not dominate, force or interfere with others right to practice their religion. It should not be used to make others pay a tax to exist or make others pay higher costs for insurance like we saw during Covid; it should not make others be forced to come up with ways to survive on the fringes, it should not make people be compelled to say things or support things they don’t agree with. It is called FREEDOM for a reason. Manipulation is when tactics aforementioned are applied to forced compliance. This divide and conquer tactic is alive and well today in our politics. The following article will support how the creep of totalitarianism occurs. The same things we are seeing today is how all genocides come to fruition. The book ‘Rules for Radicals’ is not just a book but an instruction manual. I would suggest it be read along with the book ‘It Is about Islam’, because it is. This is a controversial post but if we do not address this truth then we are doomed to take every step backward the tyrants will force us to take.

The “Little Red Hen” Could Use Your Help
If you have an opinion, you have something to offer!
Before the election some people were out doing everything they could to support President Trump’s campaign by planning, attending and volunteering for anything they could. Our times call for us to go out in pairs or groups due to the dangers posed against our values and our way of life. It is also not easy to balance work, kids, home life, church, after school sports coaching and then add civic duties to our list of demands. Before internet and mass entertainment venues people used to do all those things. Now as we have every comfort at out fingertips, we hesitate to get involved. Many use the excuse of being too busy, but daily internet usage is 4 hours minimum! Many use the excuse that Jesus wouldn’t be involved in politics, when He actually was doing exactly that as well as confronting religious leaders. Many say they don’t know enough, but they sure have opinions on how things affect them. Many say they have no skill, but they seem to be managing some sort of life. I can attest that no skill or education is necessary when we have many things like cooking, planning parades, setting up, manning booths, and more, going on!
This summer, as many of us were in pairs or groups in our own red districts, one man stood alone in risky territory. His name is Michael Starmer. Day after day, hot or cold, dry or wet he would stand along Reserve in Missoula while he was stalked by illegals parking in the lots behind him intimidating him as best they could. He set up his own signs, brought his own chairs and sustenance. He had his own materials and would wave and engage public dialog with the willing. I had passed by often to see him take abuse and support from Missoula’s loving residents. (Much like peaceful protests in the summer of love.) He stood alone most of the time when many of us were too scared to go out in pairs or groups or some sat behind computer screens. He was willing, and that is what bravery and faith takes. Just being WILLING. His name is familiar to some, his wife Barb ran for office against Zach Rasch, i.e. Zoey Zephyr, even though she knew she probably would not win at least she tried, and there is honor in that. His history is worth knowing. A dedicated supporter of God, order and peace in our communities. He started a group called the Western Montana Liberty Coalition in 2021, but the toll it took on his personal life became too much. It takes all hands on deck to make the work light and easy, but when a person has to dedicate 24 hours 7 days a week, some things have to be let go. He has not stopped his work, though, and when he returns to Montana, he will begin the next chapter in his journey. He recommends the focus be put on our Judicial system and campaigning for more conservative people. However, one thing people need to understand is we must vote in all elections and know WHO we should support. That’s why calling your local committee or precinct captains to find out who is running is an important step to take. You can also opt in for emails which may be more convenient for some, but the best thing is to get involved with the committee no matter how little. When I did stop and talk with Michael, he was already in conversation with an opponent, and he was holding very respectfully to his beliefs and values. I have to say, so was the lady until the subject of God came up. She did not see eye to eye. We all have a part we can fill if we are willing, because if we don’t, I can guarantee you that down the road we will regret not trying.
Do not buy into the laziness and disregard for civic duties. That has been what got us into this situation. Democrats are more often willing to be our leaders, and we have been way too willing to let them. If you have complaints about those who are in office, then run for office. If you have complaints about those in the committees, then join the committee. If you have complaints about the state of our country, then get involved and be leaders in your community. This sit by and watch it all burn is why we are now scrambling and clawing our way just to survive. We let the democrats take everything because we were too lazy, too busy or believed Jesus would not want us in politics. God ordained 3 things: Church, family and government, so to say He would not want us in it is pretty much a lie we tell ourselves to excuse our apathy. The Lake County Republican committee is made up mostly of unpaid volunteers who could no longer sit by and do nothing. We have a great leader who just won the district seat he ran for, so now he will be moving on to that position. There is now a need for leaders to step up in many areas. To keep our county strong, it takes work and effort. It doesn’t just happen. In the committee, we don’t all agree on everything, we do a lot of commiserating, but we also do accomplish getting out and running ads or billboards, door to door, articles to the newspaper, rallies, parades, events, festivals, supporting campaigns, board positions and so much more. I encourage you to come attend 4 meetings. Don’t say ‘no’ until you at least come see what it is all about. Make friends, get to know neighbors, see who is on our side, learn, and at the very least you will find you do fit in and have a place to contribute. No matter how little you think it is – we need it! Come out to meet your committee members and sit in on a couple meetings.
It’s easy to sit on the outside and criticize those who are doing something. It’s hard to get involved and try to be part of the solution. The bible says the harvest is ripe, but the workers are few. Why is that? Because no one wants to do the work it takes. Remember the story of ‘The little red hen’ that wanted to bake bread but needed to plant the wheat, grow the wheat, collect the wheat, threshing it then milling and baking it? No one wanted to help do any of it but once the bread was made everyone sure wanted to eat it. Well, that can teach us all exactly what we should do. We all need to be in the game doing what we can no matter how small so that when the rewards come, we all have the right to enjoy them. It’s a new year. Let it be a new you and make the resolution to join the Lake County Republican Committee.

We Would Do Well to Remember
Time to step up and help our President-elect embark on a successful term! Words of encouragement from a Lake County resident:
After the election there has been a lot of sighs of relief and celebration. Happy that the hope of Donald Trump being back in charge has given many a glimmer of brighter days. It was a nail-biting battle to get him over the top with the maladministered elections and the twisting of truth. Many bought into the hype and fears pushed by the propaganda machine because they have not been educated or had the experience to discern how things are really affecting our lives and some actually want what we were enduring. Let us not forget that everything that was happening was all possible because we as a citizenry were lazy and not engaged in our civic duties which left a vacuum the democrats are willing to exploit. If we don’t learn from that and get off our backsides related to the political field, we are doomed to repeat this pattern, and we may not be able to pull ourselves back out.
I want to encourage everyone to take our rightful places as the guiding light of Christ’s great commands and be leaders of our society. We have only been given a reprieve with this election. If we think it’s all going to be solved by President Trump, we fool ourselves back into the prone position. It’s us.
No one but ourselves is going to save us. The democrats have shown us what they intend to do to us and if we think that was bad just wait because we haven’t even begun to feel the real pain yet. We have to fight for ourselves, for those who can’t and for those who don’t know how. We must teach and we must lead, or we will get what we deserve. The America First Republicans of Lake County Montana need each and every person. We need talent, we need help in planning events, we need help with writing legislation, we need help with your voices and ideas, we need participants for parades and fundraisers and more. Sitting home doing nothing is not helping. We are losing because people sit at home being arm-chair warriors complaining instead of being part of the solution. We need you. Uncle Sam would say your country is calling. The children, the elderly, the disabled, the homeless and poor need you to get in this fight. There is no honor sitting on the sidelines watching others get beaten. Even if we make mistakes at least we have the honor to say we tried.

Abraham Lincoln Knew – We Must Get Involved

Below is NOT a history lesson.
This short missive is a lesson in reality—the reality now smacking us across our heads like a 2X4.
In 1838, at the age of 28, Abraham Lincoln gave an address to a group of young men gathered in Springfield, Illinois.
His speech was titled “The Perpetuation of Our Political Institutions.”
The specific topic of Lincoln’s speech was citizenship in a constitutional republic and threats to U.S. institutions.
In the speech, Lincoln discussed in glowing terms the political regime established by the Founding Fathers, but warned of a destructive force from within.
He said:
“Shall we expect some transatlantic military giant to step the ocean and crush us at a blow? Never!
All the armies of Europe, Asia, and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted), in their military chest, with a Bonaparte for a commander, could not by force take a drink from the Ohio or make a track on the Blue Ridge in a trial of a thousand years.”
Lincoln then asked the audience (this is the important part):
“At what point then is the approach of danger to be expected?”
Lincoln answered his own question:
“If it ever reach us, it must spring up amongst us; it cannot come from abroad. If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen we must live through all time or die by suicide.”

If Lincoln could see this at the ripe old age of 28, nearly 185 years ago, why can’t a large chunk of American citizens not see this?
Our nation’s “destruction” is NOT due to overseas threats, it’s principally due to our own complacency as citizens.
For our constitutional republic to prevail, for our institutions to NOT collapse from within, citizens must get involved.
I implore those that read this, to discuss with your families, your churches, your local clubs, your communities, your elected officials, any willing to listen, that the time is now to recognize what President Lincoln stated 22 years before he became POTUS, that our demise will NOT be from without, but from within.
In his well known and eloquent oratory style, Lincoln was reminding those attending his speech that Local Action as citizens mattered then as it matters now.
The time is now to stand up, step up, and speak up!
