LCRW meeting – April 6 – Everyone invited!

Everyone is invited to attend the April 6 LCRW meeting where Charles Garner will be discussing his new books and how we, as United States citizens, need to be engaged in the upcoming elections in order to win our country back – it will take all of us!  (Note that at the March 13 Pachyderm meeting Charles relayed statistics that show 32 million Christians who attend church every month are not voting!) The April 6 LCRW meeting will be held at the Polson Public Library beginning at 11:30am.  The address for the library is 2 1st Ave E in Polson.

Charles is looking forward to meeting with the group and will be using the Group Study Guide as a basis of the meeting experience.

Charles has requested that prior to the meeting, the meeting attendees need to read the Prologue and chapter 1 of his book ” The Battle for the Republic”.  It is important for those who have the book to read this before the meeting please, if possible!

If anyone is in need of the books prior to the meeting, they can be purchased through Kathy Shore by calling her at 406-250-0328 and making arrangements to pick them up.  The books are two for $15, or if you only purchase the Battle for the Republic it is $10. We will also have books available to purchase at the meeting if additional books are needed.

Charles is very impressed with Lake County and says Nobody does it better than you folks in Lake County.  We are setting the pace for other counties throughout Montana and thanks the Lake County Republicans for our leadership and example that we set.

A little bit about the author and his books:

Charles Garner is an author, curriculum designer, and teacher to the church. His B.A. is in Biblical Studies and Social Science. He holds a Master of Religious Education with emphasis in Biblical Exegesis and Theology.

He has authored, edited, or designed over fifty resources and books for use in the Christian community. His works include A Canary in a Coal Mine co-authored with Dr. John Powers, Beyond Expectations, Profiles from Paul, and It’s NOT Adam’s Fault!.

His latest books, The Battle for the Republic and Called to Stand, reveal the sources of the weakening and destruction of the Republic and call the Christian community to take on the full armor of God and stand their place along the battle line. He and his wife, Nancy, live in the Northern Rockies of Montana.

“The Battle for the Republic”

Every generation of believers faces a defining moment—a point when silence becomes betrayal and conviction demands a voice. The sixteenth century had its moment at Wittenberg, when one man’s courage broke the silence of a fearful church. We have come to that moment in our generation. The world we inhabit is different in form but not in nature. The idols have changed their faces; the heresies have traded old robes for new rhetoric; yet the spiritual war remains the same. The enemies of truth are not new—they are the old powers of pride, deception, and fear wearing modern names. It’s the oldest lie dressed up in a new suit of clothes. America is not merely divided—it is being discipled.

Ideas once confined to the margins now shape classrooms, laws, media, and the moral imagination of a nation. Many Christians sense the shift but struggle to name it—much less respond faithfully. The Battle for the Republic reveals how biblical truth, civic responsibility, and moral courage were quietly eroded—and why this unraveling was not accidental, but strategic. Drawing from Scripture, history, and the structure of the American constitutional order, Charles Garner exposes the forces reshaping the culture while clarifying what Christian engagement is—and is not.

This is not a call to rage, violence, or theocracy. It is a call to clarity, stewardship, and courage rooted in conviction. Written for pastors, leaders, and thoughtful believers, The Battle for the Republic equips the church to understand the conflict of our moment—and to stand without surrendering either faith or conscience. We are engaged in a spiritual war in which the very souls of people, the Republic, and the church are at stake. This is not a time for retreat or capitulation. It is a time to practice the disciplines of the faith, to put on the whole armor of God, and — having done all — to stand. We claim the field; we do not abandon it.
The next Great Awakening will not be imported from history; it will ignite in a remnant who refuse to kneel to the spirit of this age and who bow to Christ alone.

LCRCC plenary – April 7

Central Committee meetings have been moved to Tuesday, but begin at 6:30 as usual. Venue is still 25 Regatta Rd in Polson, on the Volunteer Fire Department’s premises.

Pachyderm Club – April 10

Our guest speaker for this meeting will be Montana HD12 Representative Tracy Sharp who is running for re-election.  Tracy will be giving a presentation about “Dark Money”.

Tracy is an American politician and Air Force veteran, serving as a member of the Montana House of Representatives since 2025.  He is a member of the Republican Party and represents the Montana 12th district which includes Big Fork, Flathead Lake and Polson.

We hope you will join us for this interesting presentation!

Note:

Tracy Sharp has given this presentation before. Here is the slide show from the December LCRCC meeting. It was so enlightening that we have asked Tracy to return for a redo. The slide show helps get a general idea, but do not miss the opportunity to hear Tracy talk more in depth about what selective financing can do – and the chance to ask your own questions!

In case you missed it:

Great turnout for Charles Garner on March 13! Now it is up to us to disseminate the great information penned and spoken by this patriotic author! Minutes posted on the ‘Pachyderm Club’ page. Excerpt:

“The church has yielded – voices have been silenced.  The church must stand up
Charles’ third book is the cure – ‘ Called to Stand’
Every believer needs to put on the armor of God and stand up.  Lake County is on the battle line
We all must spread the word across Montana – this is our battleground
Friends must tell friends”
32 million who attend church monthly are not VOTING!?
________
The books are available on line, but you will have another opportunity to listen and learn, and buy your own copy at an affordable price to support the sharing of Christian values. Charles Garner will be back at the Republican Women’s meeting on April 6.

The role of the judiciary as seen by District Court Judge John Mercer

On January 23, 2026, Pachyderm attendees were pondering the role of the judiciary with the help of Judge John Mercer who has experienced many ends of the spectrum of government work. John Mercer emphasized the importance of judges restraining their power. If they allow politics to be brought into their decisions, they WILL lose respect. Judges should not be biased in their decisions.

John Mercer is going to run in 2026 in order to finish the four years remaining on Judge Cotter’s term.

MT Supreme Court Candidate, Judge Dan Wilson, met with Lake County residents September 26

Judge Wilson, a true Constitutional Conservative, outlined his thoughts on what is happening in the judiciary and what he wants to do to ensure it does what the Constitution intends for it to do. Read the meeting minutes under “Who We Are/Pachyderm Club”.
