The Heritage Foundation can help us with conservative policies
The Montana State Director for Heritage Action, Kristen Christenson, came to speak to the Pachyderm audience on July 11 and surprised us with how much the organization does for We the People in helping educate the public. The topics covered were wast: One Citizen, One Vote; the Big Beautiful Bill; the rescissions package; scoring of the performance of our representatives; etc.
People within the Heritage organization are really thinking through bills put forward, the votes on the bills, in order to assess the views of our lawmakers. They help lawmakers with those bills, as well. What is more, they can also help YOU, when you want to step up and testify about issues that are important to you. Kristen encourages us to contact her if we want help. Do not forget that our representatives need us to support them when they are arguing for new legislation. Our opponents seem to have “testifiers on demand” always ready to go when called upon. We should get prepared for the coming sessions to counter them! Our voices matter!
Contact information for Kristen will be included in the minutes for the above meeting. You can also find out more by going to, e.g., the Heritage Action pages on the internet: Home | Heritage Action For America
Suggestions on what we can do:
We are hoping that Kristen will accept our invitation to come back soon. Stay tuned!
