As some of you know, 40 DFL Campaign Director Steve Karlen issued a positive response to long-time Flathead 40 DFL board member Bill Myers’ request, in May 2024, to focus this fall’s campaign on the vigil in front of the abortion facility AND on signage to stop pro-abortion constitutional initiatives.
Per attached copy of e-mails from Steve Karlen to me, all 40 DFL campaigns nationwide are now authorized to use signage to stop constitutional initiatives.
CI-128 must be stopped in Montana. So, signage – with language approved by national 40 DFL – is now ready. The signs have been printed by Rick Jore and Bill Myers, who formed “Saving Babies: No CI-128.”
Also, Steve Karlen recommended that we pray / witness with our CI-128 signs in the most highly-visible, high-traffic locations. Locally, this will be Main and Idaho (US 2 and US 93) and other high-traffic locations.
Bill Myers has volunteered to drive around Montana for the next 6-7 weeks and deliver the signs we have printed to any county seat or city wanting signs.
We need committed volunteers NOW, especially in eastern Montana. So, call friends, relatives, etc. Talk won’t get this done. The Lord wants our response with action NOW! (See 1Timothy 1:12.) Guidelines: In the guidelines, Sean Carney, President of 40 DFL, stated the following:
“This year there are many petitions and ballot initiatives that attempt to establish a constitutional right to abortion. We encourage all people of good will to educate people about these initiatives, to get out the vote and to vote NO on all initiatives that enshrine
abortion “rights” and to vote YES on all initiatives that protect the unborn and that protect LIFE.
