4th of July Parade Highlights

Great turnout for a happy celebration! Important messages were shared in the parade by LCRCC. Many pocket constitutions were handed out by hard working patriots, and banners told the rest!

Pachyderm speakers Linda Sauer and Tracy Sharp informed us on the Protect Act on June 27:

The topic for the June 27th Pachyderm meeting was a result of a recent announcement about a bill titled “The Protect Act” which is in front of the US Congress/Senate being supported by both Daines and Zinke. Austin Knudsen is also in favor of this bill!

Linda discussed/educated the public about this bill which will give the tribes criminal jurisdiction over non-tribal members up to and including prosecuting, confiscating electronic devices and search warrants.
It is highly recommended that you take time to read the attached documents which explain this bill and please share this with your friends, neighbors, relatives etc as this is not just in Montana but our elected officials are supporting the bill.
Please share with you friends. We want to educate everyone so we are prepared to fight back against this bill!

“Our” God Bless the USA Car

with Tyler Irwin at the wheel placed 2nd on Flag Day!

We need to all go to the Mission valley race track and watch the races.  Lake County Republicans have sponsored a race car driven by Tyler Irwin.  Trials start at 6 pm, the races at 7 pm. The car will be joining us in the 4th of July Parade and hopefully the Cherry Festival too.

Lake County Republicans seated in both bleachers and VIP booth

Be there to support Tyler!

Tyler’s next race: August 2

Mission Valley Super Oval on Reservoir Rd

We hope to see a lot of Republicans in the stands supporting Tyler Irwin again on August 2nd, his next race.

If you haven’t been to a race – they are a lot of fun.  Come out and support our driver!

You will likely catch Kathy Shore, the Chair of LCRW, at the races. She has stickers available for $2 a piece (approx. 2″x 4″, courtesy of David Passieri).

So much information to glean on issues that affect YOU!

On Friday the 9th, James Brown, State Auditor, shared what his office is doing for us. Management of trust lands and consumer protection are key. James reiterated that he knows the separation of powers and, hence, he works for US! Minutes to follow!
On April 25, Larry Ashcraft drew a full room at the Pachyderm meeting, speaking on the work of the Polson City Audit Commission. He was joined by another team member, Phil Thalen. It is incredible what this group of volunteering Polson residents are accomplishing.

Previous Pachyderm guest speaker – Don’t miss these events!

Speaker for the meeting May 23 was Tracy Sharp, our representative for HD 12! What great insight into what our legislators do to serve us, their constituents. Tracy did great the past session, and is willing to continue. Great news! If you missed this presentation, the Lake County Republican Women will give you another chance July 7th. Come hear what our legislators were dealing with this past session. Minutes of the meeting, including slide show file, can be found under “Who We Are/Pachyderm Club”!
