Pachyderm Club – April 24

Tyler Irwin, the race car driver that Lake County Republicans sponsored last season will be back to talk about what he is doing for the community. We meet at 25 Regatta Rd (Rural Fire Hall) in Polson at 12 noon.

Tyler is a Strategic Project Manager for Providence Health and Services as well as a race car driver.

Tyler will be speaking about how to create a future country where our children and generations to come can thrive!  This is a critical topic in today’s world with everything our children are exposed to!

Tyler Irwin is a Montana native, originally from Polson, and now lives in Frenchtown with his wife and their two children. He serves as a Strategic Project Manager for Providence Health & Services, where he leads initiatives focused on strengthening healthcare delivery and supporting the well-being of communities across the region.

Outside of work, Tyler’s greatest passion is his family and raising his children in the beauty and adventure of Montana’s outdoors. When he’s not hiking, fishing, or exploring with them, you’ll likely find him at Mission Valley Super Oval competing in the USA Late Model Series. Racing has been a lifelong pursuit, but for Tyler it’s about much more than competition. He intentionally uses the platform of racing to connect with and inspire youth in local communities—sharing lessons of perseverance, discipline, character, and faith, and showing young people what’s possible when they chase their dreams with purpose.

That commitment extends far beyond the racetrack. Tyler is deeply dedicated to investing in the next generation through mentorship, community involvement, and speaking opportunities. Grounded in his faith, he wants every young person to know they are loved by God, created with intention, and called to make a difference. He is passionate about sharing a message of hope, faith, country, and purpose—and about the role strong families, engaged communities, and civic leadership play in shaping a bright future for Montana and the nation.

We hope to see a great turn out for this meeting!

In case you missed it:

Flags were happily waving for America on April 14th. The public showed their appreciation by honking and waving. Over 900 positive reactions in 90 minutes! Join the fun next time, April 28th, 4-5:30 pm.

If you’re not worried about future elections and what is being done to the MT Constitution, you must have missed Representative Tracy Sharp’s presentations on ‘Dark Money’ (last one April 10 for a crowd of Pachyderm attendees).

Great turnout for Charles Garner on March 13 and again on April 6! 31 attendees participated at the Republican Women’s meeting Monday.

Now it is up to us to disseminate the great information penned and spoken by this patriotic author! Minutes posted on the ‘Pachyderm Club’ page. Excerpt:

“The church has yielded – voices have been silenced.  The church must stand up
Charles’ third book is the cure – ‘ Called to Stand’
Every believer needs to put on the armor of God and stand up.  Lake County is on the battle line
We all must spread the word across Montana – this is our battleground
Friends must tell friends”
32 million who attend church monthly are not VOTING!?
________
The books are available on line, but you will have another opportunity to listen and learn, and buy your own copy at an affordable price to support the sharing of Christian values. Charles Garner will be back at the Republican Women’s meeting on April 6.

The role of the judiciary as seen by District Court Judge John Mercer

On January 23, 2026, Pachyderm attendees were pondering the role of the judiciary with the help of Judge John Mercer who has experienced many ends of the spectrum of government work. John Mercer emphasized the importance of judges restraining their power. If they allow politics to be brought into their decisions, they WILL lose respect. Judges should not be biased in their decisions.

John Mercer is going to run in 2026 in order to finish the four years remaining on Judge Cotter’s term.

MT Supreme Court Candidate, Judge Dan Wilson, met with Lake County residents September 26

Judge Wilson, a true Constitutional Conservative, outlined his thoughts on what is happening in the judiciary and what he wants to do to ensure it does what the Constitution intends for it to do. Read the meeting minutes under “Who We Are/Pachyderm Club”.
