DEBATE! Local Candidates for Montana Legislature – September 26
The venue for the planned debate is the Montecahto Club, Finley Point. Time: 6 pm.
Debating the Democrat candidates will be the candidates you find on our voting guide: Charles Headley, for SD46; Tracy Sharp, HD12; Linda Reksten, HD13; David Passieri, HD91; and Ralph Foster, HD15.
Pachyderm Guest Speaker, David O. Chung – September 27
David “Doc” O. Chung, is a Vietnam Veteran and an author with extensive experience working in DC. He visited us at the LCRW meeting in August, and immediately gave us all the sense that we needed to hear more about what he learned along the road… Doc was then invited to speak to the attendees of the LCRW meeting September 9, and they can assure the Pachyderm members that they are in for a very interesting hour! Here is an excerpt from the bio found on the internet:
“After retiring, I was appointed to the Department of Veterans Affairs Secretary’s Office For Minority Veterans as a Program Analyst, and Advisor to the Congressional Committee on Veteran Affairs. I was also a Liaison to Congress and the White House concerning Asian American, Pacific Islanders and Native American, Minority and Female veterans healthcare and administrative benefits.
I served on the City of Chicago Veterans Advisory Board in 1987 to 1989”.

Stepping it up for Lake County in the Pioneer Days Parade Aug 4
More pictures in the photo gallery, see the drop-down menu under “Who We Are”. Great fun! Our candidates for HD12 (Tracy Sharp) and HD91 (David Passieri) participated, as did Ryan Zinke, running – with determination, as pictures show! – to keep his seat in the U.S. House of Representatives. Ryan’s presence was felt by those who came to enjoy the parade! Hugs shared all around.
