Join us for flag waving! – June 14
NATIONAL FLAG DAY
Show your pride in America and the flag we pledge allegiance to. Please join us for a couple of hours of fun, PEACEFUL patriotism! It has come to our attention that a group not as fond of conservative values is demonstrating at the time and place originally planned (“No Kings”, hmm, maybe not aware that we have a Republic as long as we work to keep it!?), so we are gathering at the corner of 1st Street East on Highway 93 in downtown Polson at 12 noon (original time). It so happens, we will be able to support the Chamber of Commerce in raising funds for 4th of July celebrations at the same time!
Here are some suggestions made by our group:
Please bring your flags, your friends and your energy to show our support of our country and our President. The bank is closed on Saturday so parking should be OK!
We are hoping that if you have some kids that would like to be involved, please do bring them It will be fun for all. If you have Trump flags, you can bring them as well since it is Trump’s Birthday as well as Flag Day celebration! The Chamber of Commerce is having a fundraiser across the street from where our flag waving event will be, so we should see quite a bit of positive feedback! Enjoy and have fun! Take lots of pics!
PS:
In the evening we will be at the racetrack starting 6 pm with our smaller flags to support a great race car driver, Tyler Irwin and his theme GOD BLESS THE USA – God is for YOU!

May 24 races were a nailbiter
Tyler Irwin placed 2nd!
Tyler will be at the Boys & Girls Club in Polson on June 11th between 10:00 – 11:30. He will be signing his “God is for you” cards for everyone!
We need to all go to the Mission valley race track and watch the races. Next event: June 14. Lake County Republicans have sponsored a race car driven by Tyler Irwin. Trials start at 6 pm, the races at 7 pm. The car will be joining us in the 4th of July Parade and hopefully the Cherry Festival too.

You will likely catch Kathy Shore, the Chair of LCRW, at the races. She has stickers available for $2 a piece (approx. 2″x 4″, courtesy of David Passieri).
NOTE: June 14th is also Flag Day! Plans are in the making for flagwaving earlier in the day in Polson, and we hope to also see plenty of red, white and blue in the bleachers during the evening races. Stay tuned for details!

So much information to glean on issues that affect YOU!
Previous Pachyderm guest speaker – Don’t miss these events!
Speaker for the meeting May 23 was Tracy Sharp, our representative for HD 12! What great insight into what our legislators do to serve us, their constituents. Tracy did great the past session, and is willing to continue. Great news! If you missed this presentation, the Lake County Republican Women will give you another chance July 7th. Come hear what our legislators were dealing with this past session. Minutes of the meeting, including slide show file, can be found under “Who We Are/Pachyderm Club”!

Don’t Miss Out on Coming Events
The Flathead Republican Central Committee held their annual Lincoln Reagan Trump Dinner at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kalispell on Friday, May 2. Montana Attorney General Austin Knudsen was the speaker for the evening. Some prominent Lake County residents made it to Kalispell as well to represent our central committee! The happy ladies pictured are Kathy Shore and Ellen Wicklund. The handsome couple: Tracy Sharp, House Representative for HD 12 with his wife Laura at his side.
Thank you Tracy, for all the hard work this past session in Helena! Can’t have been easy…

Plan on attending meetings if at all possible with your schedule. There is so much to know and learn. Your part in promoting what you learn could be as simple as telling your friends all about it!
On February 28, Elaine Willman, author of the book “American Tribal Tyranny” came to answer questions and give us more insight on what inspired her to write this book. Great meeting! Thank you, Elaine! Minutes of the meeting have been posted under “Who We Are/Pachyderms” (note that they also include links to 2 podcasts; conversations between Linda Sauer and Elaine!) We may even have a video of this meeting coming, since David Passieri was there eternalizing it all! Thank you for doing that to help us stay informed, Dave!
