U.S. House Representative Ryan Zinke met with Lake County residents this past Friday. Another busy day for the People’s representative: the VFW Hall in Ronan, CSKT, making his presence known in downtown Polson, speaking to a crowd at The Shoe on Flathead Lake.
The main message of the day was to help people understand why the upcoming elections are the most consequential of our lifetime. We must Get Out and VOTE, in order to make the elections TOO BIG TO RIG! Our country is in peril, but no one man can change the course. It is We the People who must step up to support better policies in any way we can. We the People are the “army” we have been waiting for! WE must also vote in candidates who will be there to support President Trump in Congress once he begins his second term in office. For a voting guide, click Voter Card Oct. 2024.
Many of our local candidates showed up to underline the message: Greg Hertz, SD-7; Tracy Sharp, HD-12, who did a great job as the Master of Ceremonies; Linda Reksten, HD-13; David Passieri, HD-91; and Gale Decker, Lake County Commissioner.
A warm thank you to the proprietor of The Lakeview Shoe, Scott Biggs, for making his beautiful restaurant available for the Get out the Vote Rally, and to his hard working staff that took care of the patrons in the packed house! Be sure to enjoy meals and good times in this breathtaking setting!
