“We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We’re picking up speed, racing toward Christmas and a New Year that shows great promise. Let’s all take a deep breath and give thanks that things seem to be moving along peacefully toward a time of great change.
After a long election season, endless political commercials, hundreds of slick mailers delivered with our ordinary mail, billions upon billions of dollars spent to win our favor, and stupid, unnecessary delays in final vote counts, it is finally over! And it doesn’t matter whether you look at the popular vote or the electoral college, the voting citizens made their choice abundantly clear:
DONALD J. TRUMP! It appears that the United States is more than ready for a return to common sense. Indeed, it seems that the whole world might appreciate it if the U.S. once again had a strong position on the world stage and led the way for a return to “peace through strength” , but before we can (or should) wield worldly influence we need to get our own house in order. That is likely to take a while!
